Sage Fly Rods have recently replaced the hugely popular Xi2 range of Saltwater fly rods with a new and improved collection......

As an authorised Sage dealer, Gamefish is one of the first to receive this new range.

Here's the technical lowdown from Sage,

"Through our exclusive SaltH2O Technology, Xi3 rods provide a groundbreaking level of torque and torsion resistance for superior tracking and less wasted energy at all distances. SaltH2O’s unique layer interface and proprietary resin also combine for maximum strength—even in high heat environments and significantly less weight."

In layman's terms, the new Xi3 is lighter, stronger and slightly stiffer though the mid section than its predecessor. We'll be testing them as soon as they arrive. Check back for the results and our recommendations on lines and reels to match them.
