Just arrived are the new Mackenzie DTX Rods and Spey Lines.

These rods have received rave reveiws in the Trout & Salmon magazine recently and we couldnt wait to get our hands on them. Knowing Scott we guessed he would produce a real winner and we are not disappointed!

The rods are as beautiful to look at as they are to cast. The balanced action of the DTX range of rods, allows perfect casting with both traditional Spey lines as well as modern shooting head systems. This is a great all round rod with bags of power to handle sunk lines and big flies yet with enough flex to fish smaller flies fished on a full floater.

The rod comes complete with a beautifully crafted bag with its own distinctive Mackenzie triangular rod tube.

Also now available are the Mackenzie DTX Lines.

These new lines designed by Scott to be easy to cast with, but at the same time giving the caster top performance.

To help achieve this he has designed the line so that the colour change and black head indicator is at your hand, giving you the same length and weight of line to cast each time making your casting not only easier to see but giving more consistency.

The lines are available as in either Multi Tip or Floater.

The Multi Tip has a head length of 68ft and comes complete with Floating, Intermediate, Slow and Fast sink tips. £95

The Floaters are availble in either 58 or 68ft heads, if you fish a big river use the longer head or for smaller rivers [or you are a less experienced Spey caster] try the shorter head. £65
